Just A Regular Day

Tuesday, June 26, 2012

Every time I spend the day with my dear cousin, something crazy always happens. This time, we walked trough whole Belgrade in order to find the perfect summer hat. As you can assume, we didn't find it, and not only that, we didn't get anything except food! Even trough all this happened, we thought it would be nice to spend the rest of the day relaxing on the bench, fooling around in parks and just enjoy each others company. Unfortunately that didn't go as well as planed because we experienced a little "accident". We were normally walking and at one point we suddenly got stuck on something and couldn't move! It was damn tar which was used for the roads reconstruction, and of course there wasn't any sign to alarm us! So yup..My day ended with 1 pair of ruined shoes and these photos :)

Making your dress work all year round

Saturday, June 16, 2012

A good year-round dress is an absolute lifesaver when you’re in need of a quick-fix look and don’t have hours to ponder over what to wear. If you’re thinking of clearing out some of your clothing clutter and creating a ‘capsule wardrobe’ - where you have several items that can combine to create a host of different looks – then a versatile dress is a great place to start.
For busy, modern working ladies, a dress we can wear at any time throughout the year can be a fantastic aid for packing light on holiday, thinning out our wardrobes and freeing up our clothes budget for some fabulous accessories.
So, how do you take a dress from one season to the next? First, get the right type of dress. If you want a dress that’s suitable for multiple situations – whether for the office or for a relaxed day out – then it might be best to stick to neutral colours like navy, brown, cream or black, as these will work well with a number of other shades. It’s also a good idea to opt for a sleeveless dress – which will be explained shortly.
Once you’ve picked your perfect dress, work on combinations for your lifestyle. For work during spring and summer, a sleeveless dress may work fine on its own, with just the addition of strappy heels and a thick bangle. Alternatively, for a dressed-down, relaxed look, swap the heels for flip-flops or ballet pumps.
On occasion, autumn can still be warm and sunny, so you’ll simply need to add a light cardigan to give your shoulders extra warmth. In case of unpredictable showers, abandon the flip-flops in favor of ankle-length Clark boots - leggings or tights optional.
Come winter, boots will no doubt be essential (particularly if there’s snow!) so team your dress with thick black tights, and wear it over a preppy shirt for work. Add an extra layer in the form of a chunky cable knit cardigan or a lined blazer on especially chilly days.
As you can see, it’s easy to create a whole host of different looks using just a simple sleeveless dress as a base – and once you’ve started, you’ll love how much more neat and organised your new capsule wardrobe looks.

For several days I`m exercising constantly to be able to achieve my weight goal. I must admit that I was completely out of shape, so now I`m suffering form the pain in my muscles. The hardest thing was definitely to quit chocolate xD Despite all of this, I`m preparing a small surprise which you`ll see very soon. Until then, enjoy my favorite pictures from my dear blog :)
